During the game you can advance in ranks, buy different kinds of weapons and receive bonuses.

    I have found the CPU "cheats" a bit. A programming error to be sure. The CPU's "Thunder Gun" does not necessarily emanate from the Frigate. On one level, the CPU's Frigate shot a Thunder Gun and I went square by square on the enemies grid in line with where the shot went on my grid. The Frigate was actually located about 3 rows away.
