The player must explore the area to collect materials and craft the tools needed to kill monsters and mine better resources, hunting for the Air Wizard in a quest to ensure they are truly alone in the world.
Minicraft is a top-down scrolling adventure game made in 48 hours by Markus Persson (AKA notch) for the 22nd Ludum Dare contest (2011) with the theme "Alone". It was inspired and heavily influenced by Notch's indie hit game Minecraft, with a key difference being the player's inability to build things - the focus is more on pure survival, combat, and crafting.
Move using the arrow keys or WASD. Your direction is based on the direction you moved last.
The action keys are C and Space. They both do the same thing, "using" the tool or item equipped, or punching if there is no tool equipped.
The inventory keys are X and enter. If you are facing a crafting station (workbench, oven, etc.) it will open the crafting interface of the station. Otherwise, it will open up your inventory. Select items using movement keys, and craft/equip the item selected using the action key. If you don't wish to select or craft anything, press X again to exit the inventory.
M to toggle music.
ESC to save game.
P to pause game.
